Skepta Challenges American Rapper to Rap Battle

On July 3, the U.Ok. rapper set issues in movement after saying he needs to tackle a U.S. rapper on wax and proposed a number of battles between U.Ok. and U.S. artists.

“I wanna conflict an American rapper anyway, lastly get this UK/US rap debate sorted,” Skepta tweeted beneath. “The common American rapper don’t even take heed to UK rappers, however we’ve take heed to them (for years) and that’s precisely why the UK can’t lose,” he added.

On July 4, Joyner Lucas stepped as much as the problem.

Joyner added some spice to the proposed lyrical squabble by taunting Skepta on X on Sunday (July 6). Within the submit, Joyner shared a video of comic Aries Spears mocking U.Ok. MCs. Skepta responded to the submit: “I used to be questioning who’s perspective you had been gonna diss me from, by no means would have guessed Aaron Spears [crying laughing emoji].”

Skepta Responds to Joyner Lucas Calling Him Out

Skepta once more responded by sharing a video reacting to Joyner’s posts.

“I wasn’t even gonna reply,” Skepta says beneath. “However I am a rapper’s rapper, I am gonna honor and respect the truth that you stood up and mentioned one thing.”

“After I drop my diss monitor for Rocky, I am gonna offer you two bars,” he provides. “And make one of many younger Gs simply rub you off. I did not do the work I did for Joyner Lucas to be saying my identify anyhow.”

He later clarified in a tweet that he doesn’t have been with A$AP Rocky.

“It’s not beef, Rocky is my household,” Skepta posted. “Rap is a sport, similar manner we’ve dissing matches on the block we are able to do it on document.”
