Hip-hop legend Slick Rick and acclaimed musician, actor, and filmmaker Idris Elba have launched their first official collaboration, “Badman Era.” Directed by Grammy winner Meji Alabi, the monitor and video arrive as a bonus launch from Slick Rick’s not too long ago debuted visible album VICTORY.
Recorded at Elba’s 7WALLACE Studios in London, the music is a fusion of storytelling, fashion, and cultural satisfaction. The accompanying video, shot on South London’s iconic Electrical Avenue the place Slick Rick grew up, honors each artists’ shared British roots whereas delivering a poetic tribute to id and artistry.
