Ronan Keating pays heartbreaking tribute to late Boyzone star Stephen Gately: ‘Kills me to do it alone’

Ronan Keating has paid tribute to his pal and former bandmate Stephen Gately in an emotional submit.

Gately died 16 years in the past right this moment, aged 33, at his vacation house in Majorca of an undiagnosed coronary heart situation.

On the anniversary of his loss of life, Keating paid tribute to the Boyzone star, with whom he carried out alongside fellow bandmates Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch, and Mikey Graham.

Keating, 48, shared a throwback picture of the duo on Instagram, writing within the caption: ‘Years are passing quick. Miss you my pal my brother my Wing man.

Keating’s bandmate Duffy, 51, shared an Instagram reel with footage of Gatley from the heyday of the band’s fame within the 90s.

He penned: ’16 years an Angel 😇 Remembering our brother Steo right this moment, perpetually in our hearts, voices, and each tune we sing. 1976–2009 🤍.’

Throughout their profession, Boyzone offered 6.3 million albums and eight million singles within the UK, with 25 million information offered worldwide.

Not too long ago, it was introduced that the 00s icons would reunite for an enormous UK present that includes a tribute to Gatley.

Boyzone will carry out One For The Highway: Stay At Emirates Stadium in London on Saturday, June 6.

Boyzone lately launched a tell-all documentary, Boyzone: No Matter What, on Sky – with the response to that prompting the Love Me For A Purpose hitmakers to discover a reunion present.

‘We’ve been really blown away and humbled by the response to the documentary this 12 months,’ Boyzone shared in an announcement.

‘The love we’ve felt from followers all around the world has impressed us to create the last word expertise collectively, headlining our personal stadium present.

‘The 4 of us can’t wait to face collectively once more and luxuriate in One For The Highway.’
