Lil Durk shares a brand new verse with followers from behind bars as he celebrates turning 33 years outdated.
On Sunday (Oct. 19), Durk uploaded a voice memo on social media, which was recorded on a jail name and blended with Auto-tune in post-production.
“Who you rely upon?/In case you want one thing who are you able to bend on?” he raps. “Ask you bi**h is she actually placing ni**as within the friendzone/Got here from nothing, ate on nothing/Ain’t don’t have anything to place my grits on/Run it, I am from the mud, I actually watched the Flintstones.”
Durkio captioned the verse: “I don’t have all of the phrases, however I’m grateful to nonetheless have a voice. Grateful for everybody who stood on love when issues bought heavy. I’m engaged on myself, engaged on peace, and hoping town feels that too.”
Durk has been locked up since he was arrested final October and charged with murder-for-hire in reference to the killing of Quando Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, in August of 2022. Durk has pleaded not responsible and maintains his innocence.
In one other name from jail that surfaced on Sunday, Durk seems to be in good spirits.
