A gaggle of conflict heroes on an honor flight from Wisconsin to Washington, D.C. received fairly the shock once they landed in our nation’s capital forward of Veterans Day … as a result of former president Barack Obama was ready for them.
Obama greeted the airplane when it touched down and hung out with the vets, who served within the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
The previous prez shared video of the candy interactions on social media, saying … “Forward of Veterans Day, I used to be honored to welcome a flight of veterans and their households as they arrived in DC.”
Obama added … “To all those that bravely served our nation, thanks to you and your loved ones on your extraordinary service. The sacrifices that each one of you may have made to guard our nation might be honored, at the moment and each day.”
Onboard, Obama grabbed the intercom and thanked the vets for his or her service and sacrifice.
The journey to D.C. was organized by the Honor Flight Community, a nonprofit that flies vets and their households to our nation’s capital to go to monuments across the metropolis.
Fairly cool stuff. America!!!
