A 27-year-old man has been charged with homicide within the dying of “Final Likelihood U” star John Beam … officers introduced Monday.
Based on courtroom docs, Cedric Irving Jr. admitted to capturing Beam at Laney Faculty in Oakland on Thursday … and had the handgun used within the disgusting act in his possession on the time of his arrest on the San Leandro BART station at 3 AM the following morning.
Beam was shot within the head and rushed to a close-by hospital … however tragically, he died from the accidents he sustained.
At a press convention, Alameda County DA Ursula Jones Dickson stated Irving is going through 50 years to life if convicted.
Jones Dickson added Irving — who’s being held with out bail — didn’t have a legal document.
It is unclear if there’s a connection to Irving and Beam … however officers stated final week the alleged shooter went to the Laney campus for a “particular motive” and the assault was “very focused.”
Beam was a staple within the Bay Space … and devoted his life to serving to the youth via sports activities.
He coached a handful of gamers who went on to swimsuit up within the NFL.
