‘SVU’ Episode Yanked Amid Manhunt

NBC has yanked a brand new episode of “Regulation & Order: SVU” that was to air this week … as a result of it options Timothy Busfield, who’s dealing with little one intercourse abuse fees.
A supply with information confirmed to TMZ … this Thursday’s ‘SVU,’ titled “Corrosive,” can be shelved … and a brand new episode scheduled for subsequent week has been bumped up.
It is unclear if Timothy’s one-off episode — during which he performs Choose Warren Fels — will ever see the sunshine of day.
TMZ broke the information … the feds are actually concerned in his case … and we’re instructed the U.S. Marshals Service is aiding New Mexico authorities in finding Busfield and taking him into custody in reference to the allegations.
A federal regulation enforcement supply tells TMZ … the U.S. Marshals and Albuquerque PD are monitoring Busfield’s last-known actions. The supply says Busfield is probably not in New Mexico … and that is why the Marshals had been introduced in.
As we beforehand reported … the award-winning movie and TV actor and director was accused of sexually abusing underage boys who had been little one actors on “The Cleansing Girl” whereas he was directing the present.
An investigation into Busfield started in November 2024 — and a warrant for his arrest was issued on Friday. We’re instructed Busfield isn’t at the moment in custody, and regulation enforcement has not supplied a timeline for an arrest. His whereabouts haven’t been publicly disclosed.
The actor is finest recognized for his roles in “The West Wing,” Revenge of the Nerds,” “Thirtysomething,” and “Area of Desires.”
