Wilder, holding a record of 44-4-1 with 43 knockouts, seeks his second straight win. From 2020 to 2024, he endured a challenging stretch, posting just one victory in five fights after an undefeated start of 42-0-1. He suffered back-to-back knockout losses to Tyson Fury, followed by a knockout triumph over Robert Helenius. Subsequent defeats came against Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, before he secured a knockout against Tyrrell Herndon in June.

At 40 years old, Wilder steps back into the United Kingdom for the first time since 2013, when he faced Audley Harrison. Known as “The Bronze Bomber,” he now meets seasoned contender Chisora.
