Lisa Riley Addresses Pregnancy Speculation
In a separate development, Riley recently confronted circulating pregnancy rumors in a candid Instagram video, expressing frustration over misinformation. She explained that she and her partner Al had attempted IVF in 2018, but tests showed her eggs were not viable, leading them to accept that parenthood might not be possible.
Addressing the rumors directly, Riley stated, “Hi everybody, this is no-one’s fault apart from fake news, clickbait and oh my God, what world are we living in. I am 100 per cent not pregnant, I have been inundated today with congratulations about that. Do you know what makes this even more sick? Is the fact that only this week on Loose Women, I was talking about the fact that me and Al, my other half, we couldn’t get pregnant.”
She continued, “We tried IVF, it didn’t work but still the very strange people out there feel they need to clickbait and put out fake news that I am pregnant. Well I’m not and you know what, to clickbait and AI and to all of this nonsense the world is becoming, there,” gesturing emphatically. “That’s yours, utter nonsense. Clarification, I’m not pregnant. Okay, thank you! Clarification would be nice.”
Riley advised followers, “If I was pregnant, I might have told people. Just food for thought, when you read stuff, go to the person’s social media, have a look at if they’ve said anything, if they haven’t, it’s probably fake news. Just putting it out there.” She captioned the post, “The truth….FROM ME!! Stop stop stop stop believing all the [lies] on here PLEASE… FAKE NEWS is getting out of hand!!!! #truth,” accompanied by angry face emojis.
