A 25-year-old man suffered injuries in an attack by a group of three or four males outside a pub in Wythenshawe, south Manchester, before facing arrest himself for an unrelated assault.
Incident Unfolds on Poundswick Lane
Police responded to reports of a fight outside the Silver Birch pub on Poundswick Lane at 11:20 p.m. on Friday, February 13. Emergency services arrived promptly, rushing the victim to Salford Royal Hospital for treatment. The severity of his injuries has not been disclosed.
Arrest at Hospital
While receiving medical care, officers arrested the 25-year-old man on suspicion of a separate assault. No further details on this charge have emerged.
