Sources indicate a final choice between Ball and Emma Willis, 49, with producers eyeing a traditional presenter paired with a comedic female host to preserve the show’s signature humor.
Willis recently took over Ball’s BBC Radio 2 afternoon slot after Ball’s brief stint. Ball, who hosted Strictly spin-off It Takes Two until 2021, recently vacated her Saturday Radio 2 role, freeing her schedule.
