The Princess of Wales appeared radiant during a visit to Powys alongside Prince William, celebrating the community ahead of St David’s Day.
Elegant Monochromatic Ensemble
She donned a striking burgundy outfit featuring a midi skirt, blouse, Alexander McQueen coat, and matching leather boots. Her hair fell in signature loose waves, complemented by smoky eye makeup. Fans adored the cohesive look and shared praise on social media.
One user posted on X: “It’s so bold to go different shades of any colour, especially maroon which is a difficult colour to balance. Love the look.”
Another commented: “She is just lovely. Always impeccably put together. Don’t believe I’ve ever seen a ‘miss’ on Catherine.”
A third fan noted: “Princess Catherine looks lovely today.” A fourth added: “I love this so much! She looks beautiful in this colour.” A fifth remarked: “I always love this colour palette on The Princess of Wales.”
Engaging Community Visit
The couple made an impromptu stop to greet well-wishers braving heavy rain. They arrived at The Hanging Gardens, a community hub in Llanidloes emphasizing resilience and creativity, to cheers from crowds waving Welsh flags and holding daffodils, Wales’ national flower.
Both wore daffodils on their lapels. Inside the cafe, the Princess of Wales ordered a cappuccino while Prince William chose tea. They chatted with locals crafting festival signs in Welsh.
Outdoors, they visited the forge to meet three- and four-year-old nursery children displaying handmade signs. In the adjacent market, Prince William sampled cider from producers. The tour continued to the kitchen, where staff prepared traditional Welsh stew cawl and Welsh cakes for St David’s Day.
After departing briefly, the royals returned on foot to interact with additional cheering crowds.
