Newcastle Knights star Bradman Best has announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Kayla Fenech, daughter of Australian boxing icon Jeff Fenech.

The couple shared the joyful news on social media, revealing that Best proposed at the elegant Krinklewood Estate Winery in New South Wales’ Hunter Valley. ‘Here’s to forever,’ they captioned the post, which quickly garnered over 11,000 likes and 370 comments.

Fellow rugby league players offered their congratulations. Cronulla Sharks halfback Nicho Hynes commented, ‘Congratulations guys! How good.’ Sydney Roosters forward Angus Crichton added, ‘Yes guys how good best ever.’ Best’s former teammate Mitchell Barnett simply wrote, ‘Congrats guys.’

Family Milestone

Best and Fenech welcomed their first child, daughter Kaliyah, last December. The young girl joined the couple for the special moment. Fenech wore a stunning white dress and received a custom ring from Simon Curwood Jewellers.
