Western Australian model Rebecca Jobson, 36, turned heads at a glamorous Prada event in Sydney’s CBD on Friday night, stepping out with her new partner, wealthy businessman Charles Hinckfuss, 41. The appearance follows her recent separation from surf legend Taj Burrow after seven years of marriage.
New Romance Surfaces
The former Australia’s Next Top Model contestant kept the budding relationship low-key, avoiding joint photos at the event. Instead, she posed alongside P.E Nation founder Pip Edwards. Sources confirm the pair’s connection began shortly after Jobson’s split from Burrow, 47, the Yallingup surf icon and father of their two children, Arabella Rose and two-year-old Robbie Lou.
Jobson, originally from Perth, has increased her time in Sydney, where Hinckfuss resides. The couple’s chemistry drew attention from onlookers, solidifying earlier rumors.
Charles Hinckfuss’s High-Profile Past
Known to friends as ‘Chugga,’ the Melbourne native owns furniture company MCM House. Once dubbed Sydney’s most eligible bachelor, Hinckfuss boasts a history of romances with top models. He vacationed closely with Victoria’s Secret’s Elyse Taylor in Noosa in January 2024 and partied on a yacht with Montana Cox and her then-partner Jamie Valmorbida in 2015.
Hinckfuss maintains ties to elite circles, including friendship with millionaire chicken heir Johnny Ingham, whom he joined at Ingham’s 2023 European wedding to Rey Vakili. His sister, Lucy, was previously married to Icebergs restaurateur Maurice Terzini.
Split from Taj Burrow
Rumors of trouble surfaced in January, months after the couple professed their love during a Maldives getaway. Jobson reverted to her maiden name on social media, prompting speculation. When questioned about the change and separation, she responded, ‘No thank you.’
The pair, seen as a power couple in Western Australia, went public in 2014 and welcomed their first child in 2015. They married twice: an intimate elopement in late 2018—prompted by Taj’s unique Burger Ring proposal to include Jobson’s terminally ill mother—and a lavish celebration in February 2019 at Caves Road Collective in Wilyabrup, WA.
Celebrity guests included Grammy-nominated DJ Fisher and his wife Chloe, nightclub figure Shane Moran, and model Montana Cox. Jobson shared her joy on Instagram: ‘My heart is so full. I can’t believe how lucky I am to have struck gold like this. So thankful for all of these special, special humans.’
Jobson’s Rising Profile
Beyond modeling, Jobson founded gender-neutral clothing label Moda Mitsu. Recent travels feature her with socialite Jade Yarborough, AFL partner Jessie Murphy, and interior designer Chloe Matters, signaling her expanding Sydney network.
