Scottie Scheffler’s £2.8m Dallas Mansion Reflects PGA Star’s Humble Life

PGA Tour’s top-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler balances family life and competition from his luxurious yet understated £2.8 million mansion in Dallas, Texas. Scheffler recently withdrew from the Houston Open as his wife, Meredith Scudder, prepares to welcome their second child. The couple’s first son, Bennett, arrived in May 2024, just before the PGA Championship. Scheffler aims to defend his strong Houston record—runner-up finishes the past two years—and chase a third Masters Green Jacket at Augusta National soon.

Grounded Living in Exclusive Devonshire

Despite a net worth surpassing £80 million, the 29-year-old Texan remains in the 5,000-square-foot home purchased in 2020 for £1.6 million. Its value has nearly doubled, highlighting smart investment amid his golf dominance. The property offers high-end comfort without extravagance, underscoring Scheffler’s grounded nature.

Interior Luxuries and Family Spaces

The mansion boasts five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The spacious master suite includes a sitting area, his-and-hers wardrobes, and a luxurious bathroom with marble countertops. French doors flood interiors with natural light, complemented by neutral tones and rustic furnishings.

The open kitchen features hardwood floors, white cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a central island with bar seating. An adjacent dining area showcases navy velvet chairs around a wooden table. The living room offers vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, plush sofas, and abundant windows for gatherings.

Scheffler’s office includes built-in bookshelves, a large wooden desk, a chandelier, and French doors to the outdoors. A games room provides recreation with a ping pong table and ceiling fan.

Outdoor Oasis on Half-Acre Lot

The half-acre lot creates a private retreat. A stone patio with fireplace overlooks a rectangular swimming pool equipped with a spa and waterfall. Lush trees and shrubs offer shade, while patio furniture and sun loungers invite relaxation. The front facade displays stone exterior, arched entry, manicured landscaping, and a circular driveway.

Loyalty to PGA Tour Amid LIV Offers

This modest residence aligns with Scheffler’s commitment to the PGA Tour, despite lucrative LIV Golf proposals. He stated, “My dream was to play on the PGA Tour. My dream was never to maximise my financial benefits. I feel very blessed and fortunate to play golf and get paid for it, so for me, I’m not looking to go out and do anything else.”
