The final episode of Fletcher’s Family Farm airs this Sunday at 11:30am on ITV1, marking the end of Kelvin and Liz Fletcher’s popular series showcasing life on their Cheshire farm.
Josie Gibson’s Show Takes the Slot
Next Sunday, Josie’s Taste of the Westcountry fills the time from 11:25am to 12:25pm. A repeat of Fletcher’s Family Farm follows immediately after.
Proud Bristolian Josie Gibson embarks on a culinary tour of the Westcountry, connecting with local producers, tasting regional specialties, and highlighting people, flavors, and landscapes. The premiere episode starts in Gloucestershire with a scenic horseback ride, a visit to Countryfile’s Adam Henson and his unique pigs, and assistance to chef Paul Ainsworth in preparing a decadent fondue featuring mustard referenced by William Shakespeare.
Series 4 Highs and Lows for the Fletchers
Season four delivers triumphs alongside tragedies for the Fletcher family. They relocate from the farmhouse after a fire and suffer losses with their livestock, including cows Cherry and Sonic.
Kelvin Fletcher expresses devastation over Cherry’s death: “It’s absolutely heartbreaking. I’ve no idea at all about what’s caused it. I’m just surprised how shocking it is, to be honest, I’m just having a bit of shock.”
He adds, “This is a lot to process. We are such a small herd, and Cherry was most definitely the matriarch. Losing her is a huge blow for us and her calf, Ezra. It’s really upsetting. Absolutely gutted.”
The family earlier bids farewell to Sonic, compounding their challenges.
Ahead of the finale, previews spotlight Marnie’s lamb shack, where her efforts with Jacob lambs culminate at the market.
Repeat Episode Preview
The upcoming repeat features series one, episode one: Actor and TV presenter Kelvin Fletcher and his family offer insights into rural life during their busiest lambing season. Kelvin and wife Liz explore pig breeding through artificial insemination, while Kelvin collects new livestock ahead of the farm’s first public event.
Both Fletcher’s Family Farm and Josie’s Taste of the Westcountry stream on ITVX.
