Counter-terror police are investigating whether a series of arson attacks across London involve Iranian proxies. Deputy Assistant Commissioner Vicki Evans of the Metropolitan Police shared this update on Sunday.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer voiced strong condemnation over the antisemitic incidents, declaring, “This is abhorrent and it will not be tolerated. Attacks on our Jewish community are attacks on Britain.” His statement followed a firebombing at Kenton United Synagogue in Harrow.
The United Synagogue president has labeled the ongoing incidents “an epidemic of anti-Jewish hate.”
