Live TV Denial During Book Promo

Ben Miller, known for portraying DI Richard Poole in the long-running BBC crime drama, appeared on Good Morning Britain on April 22 to promote his new children’s book. Hosts Ed Balls and Susanna Reid joined entertainment reporter Richard Arnold in welcoming the star.

Richard Arnold pressed Miller on the rumors, asking: “Traitor or faithful? You’re one of the many names in the mix and I know filming starts in Scotland.”

Miller responded: “I would love to do it. I haven’t been invited. Spoiler. I would be a faithful, I don’t know how anyone could be a…”

Arnold interjected skeptically: “That’s what they all say.” Miller teased back: “Maybe I am just saying that, right?” Arnold replied: “Oh ok, right. There we go, maybe we can’t trust caramel coloured jacket as much as we thought we could.”

Traitors Franchise Secures Long-Term BBC Deal

The BBC recently announced a major deal extending The Traitors and Celebrity Traitors through 2030, ensuring multiple seasons of the main show and celebrity editions remain staples in its entertainment slate.

Highlights from Last Year’s Celebrity Edition

Claudia Winkleman hosted the first celebrity series last year, featuring stars like Clare Balding, Tom Daley, Kate Garraway, Paloma Faith, and Sir Stephen Fry. Traitors Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns, and Alan Carr eliminated contestants strategically.

Alan Carr ultimately triumphed, securing £87,500 and etching his name in TV history.
