The group arrived alongside Junaid and Harry Derbidge for a packed schedule of interviews, building excitement for the upcoming series set to premiere on April 26.
Insights on Essex Dating and Relationships
During interviews, Ella shared her thoughts on her ex-boyfriend Dan Edgar’s new romance with Chloe Lewis, describing it as ‘cute’ despite previously feeling threatened by their closeness.
Ella, 25, ended her on-and-off relationship with Dan in January 2025, just before entering the Big Brother house, due to trust concerns. Dan and Chloe’s relationship gained confirmation earlier this week.
Joined by Harry and Dani, the castmates humorously described dating in Essex as ‘incestuous.’ Dani noted: ‘That just sums Essex up. Essex is such a small place – it’s impossible to date someone that hasn’t got with someone that you know. It’s our reality.’
Harry added: ‘It’s always a hard one. It’s never easy to see someone go with someone that you’ve been with. But, you know, [it’s] a lesson, it makes you a bigger person and a lot stronger.’
Teasers for the New Season
Filmed largely in Vietnam, the 16th series of the show, which debuted in 2010, promises plenty of drama. Harry revealed: ‘There’s a lot of drama, a lot of arguments [and] a lot of snappy behaviour.’
Ella and Dani explained that the remote location amplified tensions by removing the cast from their usual comforts.
Harry also discussed mending fences with former best friend Ella after their public fallout at his 30th birthday in 2024, triggered by information he shared about her relationship with Dan to the ‘Girl Band.’
He stated: ‘I feel like it’s like a good progression [in this series], like I’ve always had a lot of love for Ella, and I know that we’ve had our differences. But we have never argued to the point that it’s never, could never return. In this series, you will see us obviously get a little bit closer, like we spent a lot of time with each other as well away from the show now. I feel like we’re on the road [to being friends again]. I mean being in the same room right now.’
