Conservationist Reveals Unconventional Drive Behind His Busy Schedule

Robert Irwin has opened up about the surprising impetus behind his demanding workload, sharing that he experiences physical illness when he is not actively engaged in projects. The young conservationist revealed that his packed schedule is not solely a product of ambition, but rather a personal necessity.

‘I can’t stand being still; it makes me physically ill. That’s not even an analogy. I actually get physically nauseous if I’m inside,’ Irwin explained. ‘I have to just always be going. If I don’t, I don’t sleep. I feel like I’m going to just pass out.’

The 22-year-old has maintained a relentless pace in recent months, balancing television commitments with his ongoing responsibilities at Australia Zoo and various conservation initiatives. Reflecting on his demanding schedule, which recently included hosting ‘Dancing With The Stars: The Next Pro,’ a spin-off filmed in Queensland for American audiences, Irwin admitted to a tendency to overcommit.

‘I say yes to too much, that’s the problem!’ he quipped. ‘I say yes to everything, but when I go home, the real work for Australia Zoo and my conservation projects begins. My day job starts when I get back… I love that.’

Speculation Mounts Over Potential James Bond Role

Irwin also addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding the next James Bond actor, with Hollywood reportedly searching for a successor to play the iconic spy. When asked about the possibility of taking on the role, he responded with characteristic humor.

‘If Jacob pulls out, I’m there. I don’t know if my first role can be James Bond, but I wouldn’t say no. A khaki tux? Obviously! And the villain would be habitat destruction,’ he stated.

Further hinting at his diverse media presence, Irwin announced a surprise appearance as a guest judge on an upcoming episode of ‘MasterChef Australia’ this Wednesday.

‘So we’re going straight to MasterChef Australia, yeah? My approach is: if you’re going to do it, you’ve got to go all out,’ he commented.

Hollywood Eyes Irwin for Global Stardom

While Robert Irwin is currently a prominent figure in Australian television, industry insiders suggest that Hollywood is increasingly taking notice of his potential for international stardom. Despite aggressive pursuit from rival networks for major hosting deals, reports indicate that Irwin has recently tempered local discussions as international opportunities begin to emerge.

Producers are reportedly drawn to Irwin’s broad appeal, which spans entertainment, lifestyle, conservation, and family demographics. ‘He already feels bigger than just one television network,’ a source indicated. ‘That’s exactly the kind of trajectory people around him are now talking about.’

Although there is no immediate indication that Irwin plans to leave Australian television, many industry executives privately believe his international breakthrough may be inevitable. ‘The industry absolutely sees him as somebody who could become Australia’s next major global star,’ an insider remarked. ‘Hollywood is definitely starting to notice.’

Irwin recently shared a teaser trailer on Instagram for a project titled ‘Max Impact,’ hinting at a potential big-screen debut. The brief preview featured him in his signature khakis, navigating a jungle environment.

‘Something epic is coming,’ he captioned the post.
