Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Cosmetic Enhancements

Reality television personality Khloe Kardashian is embracing a new level of transparency regarding her cosmetic procedures. In a recent interview, the 41-year-old star candidly discussed the treatments she has undergone and those she considers essential.

The star’s decision to speak openly about her cosmetic work was prompted by an encounter a year ago. After a stranger made assumptions online about her appearance, Kardashian felt compelled to address the speculation directly. “This gentleman was [on the Internet] dictating all these things that I did. And if I did, I would totally say that. I don’t have a problem with it,” she stated. She emphasized that while her current look isn’t entirely natural, significant maintenance is involved.

A Journey of Transformation

Kardashian, who has been in the public eye since she was 21, attributes changes in her appearance to a combination of factors, including aging and significant weight loss. “But yes, I’ve had enhancements,” she confirmed. She specifically mentioned having had her nose altered and expressed her enthusiasm for laser treatments and injectables. “And before I need to get my face surgically done, I’m going to do all the lasers and injectables or whatever that I can,” she added.

Further detailing her cosmetic history, Kardashian shared in June 2025 via social media a comprehensive list of procedures. These include laser hair removal, collagen threads for the chin and neck area, and treatments for a cheek area where a facial tumor was removed. She also mentioned soft wave laser for skin tightening and past use of fillers, though she noted she hasn’t had them in recent years.

Shared Adventures in Beauty

The Good American founder described herself and her sister Kim as “adventurous” when it comes to exploring new beauty treatments. She recounted how they often share information about potential procedures, saying, “I’ll see like it can be a stretch mark laser commercial, and when I send it to her, I’m like, ‘Do you think this is real?’ and we’re like, ‘We need that.'”

Self-Care and Shifting Perspectives

Beyond cosmetic enhancements, Kardashian also revealed her routine of regular massages, which she undergoes to alleviate migraines, though she admits to not always enjoying the process. “I’m always thinking, ‘I can be doing something else with my time,’ but even if I want to just die when I’m lying there, I’m learning to be better about my self-care,” she insisted.

The beauty mogul, who recently launched her third fragrance, XO Blue, stressed her current positive headspace. “We’ve lived in an era where, at least me, I’m so used to comparing myself aesthetically to others, and that gets so exhausting. So, over the past few years, I’ve tried to remove myself mentally from that type of energy, to free myself,” she explained. She reflected on her younger years, stating, “When I was in my 20s – and maybe I didn’t look a certain way, and maybe I didn’t have the body that other people thought I should have had – I was the happiest. And then being compared to so many other people all the time by the press, I started doing that myself.”

Navigating Personal Challenges

Kardashian’s self-esteem faced significant challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period marked by personal difficulties, including the end of her relationship with former NBA player Tristan Thompson, with whom she shares two children. “I was sick of not feeling how I used to feel, but when all those things happened, I was just like, ‘You know what? None of this is mine to carry,'” she stated. She confessed to feeling deeply uncomfortable with the person she was becoming during that time.

As she entered her 40s, Kardashian focused on personal and professional growth. “In my 40s, with the wisdom and the security I’ve gained, I’m like, ‘I’m fabulous if I have all this glam on or if I don’t,'” she concluded.
