‘Britain’s Bad Boy’ Lee Andrews Offers Live Lie Detector Test Amid Fraud Claims

Lee Andrews, the husband of television personality Katie Price, has declared his willingness to undergo a live lie detector test on television. The 43-year-old, who has branded himself ‘Britain’s bad boy,’ made this public declaration just two weeks after his release from Al-Awir prison in Dubai. Andrews was previously detained under fraud allegations, though he maintains his detention involved being captured at gunpoint and was related to suspected espionage.

On Friday, Andrews posted a car selfie with Price, 48, on Instagram, accompanied by the caption: ‘Britain’s bad boy Lee Andrews agrees to live TV lie detector test.’ This move comes as Andrews faces accusations of defrauding a ‘vulnerable woman’ of £5,000.

Allegations of £5,000 Fraud Surface

Reports indicate that an Iranian woman, described as vulnerable, met Andrews in a hotel lobby in January. She reportedly confided in him her concerns about securing a property investment visa. According to information obtained by The Sun, Andrews claimed to have connections within immigration services. Trusting his assurances, the woman allegedly handed him 26,000 AED, equivalent to just over £5,000 in cash, in the hope of obtaining the visa.

However, after months of waiting, no visa materialized. The woman’s friend, a British engineer named Daniel, then reportedly attempted to recover the funds. Daniel stated that the woman trusted Andrews and believed he could resolve her visa issues. He described her as being ‘pretty fraught’ during the ordeal, emphasizing her vulnerability.

Daniel recounted confronting Andrews at the same hotel, demanding to know if the visa was being processed. Andrews allegedly claimed he was merely trying to help and had no personal gain from the transaction. Despite promises to provide updates and arrange meetings, Andrews reportedly failed to follow through. Daniel claims he extended his stay by two weeks to pursue the money, but Andrews eventually stated he did not have the cash, suggesting it needed to be transferred and that it was not in his possession.

As of the latest reports, the money has not been returned to the woman.

Past Allegations and Warnings

This latest accusation follows claims from two of Andrews’s ex-partners who have reportedly urged Katie Price to distance herself from him and refrain from providing him with financial assistance. In January, it was revealed that Lee Andrews allegedly obtained a £200,000 mortgage in the name of his ex-fiancée, Dina Taji, without her knowledge. This led to legal action from Taji and a travel ban being imposed on Andrews in Dubai.

Dina Taji has reportedly declined to speak publicly about the situation but is said to have met with Katie Price recently to warn her about her husband.

Andrews has disputed these claims. Regarding the mortgage allegation, he stated, “There’s not one shred of evidence where I’ve taken a mortgage in someone else’s name, particularly in my ex fiancée’s name Dina. If I was to take a mortgage in somebody else’s name, wouldn’t she get that mortgage? How does it work? What would I benefit from signing her name? That’s definitely not the case. So, let her bring the mortgage paper.”

Another ex-partner, Crystal Janke, 40, has claimed Andrews convinced her to invest £123,000 in his company, promising a return of £1 million. His former fiancée, Alana Percival, has also reportedly issued warnings on social media.

Andrews has denied all these allegations.

Outstanding Debts and Potential Prison Sentence

Sources indicated last week that Andrews faces a potential return to prison within 14 days if he fails to settle his outstanding debts. New documents have reportedly detailed the extent of his financial difficulties, including £54,000 related to a rental car and £15,000 owed to a United Arab Emirates legal firm.

While it is understood that Andrews was not actively sought by police at this stage, a deadline has been set for the payment of these debts.

A representative for Andrews reportedly told The Sun that the judgment debtor appeared before the court and explained his inability to pay due to his wife being abroad and his lack of access to his bank account. He requested a 14-day period to settle the outstanding amounts.

A source added that Andrews managed to avoid jail by stating he could raise the necessary capital himself. The source further indicated that Andrews credits Katie Price as being his support and assisting him in communicating with officials during his incarceration, but denies asking her to pay off any of his debts, insisting he can manage them independently.
