Amanda Bynes, the 40-year-old former child star now focusing on music, was seen hurrying through Los Angeles on errands last Friday following a whirlwind week of public updates.
Surprise Music Release
Five days prior, Bynes caught fans off guard with her new single Girlfriend, featuring Zabba and Fenix Flexin. The track launched online shortly after she joined the Create Music Group distribution platform. She had teased the song for months, sharing a snippet in January and announcing Fenix Flexin’s involvement in February, calling it ‘straight fire.’
Dramatic Hair Transformation
Bynes debuted a striking shift from platinum blonde to raven-black hair. During her LA outing, she styled it swept back, highlighting her dyed blue eyebrows. She paired navy shorts that accentuated her toned legs with a casual gray hoodie and UGG boots.
Ozempic Weight Loss Progress
In December, Bynes shared that she dropped from 180 pounds to 152 pounds using Ozempic, calling the photo ‘really inspiring.’ She first announced starting the injectable last June amid its popularity in Hollywood, aiming for 130 pounds to improve her paparazzi photos.
By November, she reported losing 20 pounds, reaching 163 pounds after a temporary gain to 180. Bynes, who now dates Zachary Khan, noted the treatment works well and helps her feel ‘skinny and cute.’ She aims to return to her teenage weight of 110 pounds after depression led to a 20-pound gain.
Recent Appearance Enhancements
Bynes added lip fillers last August and underwent blepharoplasty eyelid surgery in 2023, describing it as ‘one of the best things for my self-confidence.’ Last May, she got a Roman numeral X tattoo on her finger to mark her 10-year friendship with pal Dylan, who matched the ink.
