Angelina Pivarnick, the 39-year-old Jersey Shore star, has revealed she is expecting her first child. The reality TV personality shared the surprising news during the ninth season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, where she has been openly discussing her fertility journey.
Emotional On-Screen Announcement
In a recent episode, Pivarnick shared the positive pregnancy test result with her friend Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola. Stunned by the outcome, she remarked, ‘There’s no way that it just happened naturally. There’s no sperm donor now.’ In a confessional, she added, ‘I did not think I was able to get pregnant, but, wow, I’m … pregnant. This could be a great thing. This could be my fairy tale, my path, my baby.’
Later in the episode, Pivarnick called the apparent father of the child, referring to him playfully as ‘John Doe-Nor,’ a nod to ‘donor.’ Details remain unclear on whether they are in a relationship or if he provided sperm solely for conception. She had previously expressed interest in using a sperm donor to start a family.
During the phone conversation, she excitedly told him, ‘So, I have some news for you. I am officially, definitely pregnant — we’re having a baby!’
Social Media Confirmation and Background
Pivarnick confirmed the news on X Thursday evening, posting, ‘Guys secrets out !!! I’m pregnant :).’ Although she has not yet displayed a baby bump publicly, the announcement marks a joyful milestone.
In the season premiere on May 7, Pivarnick discussed her hopes of conceiving through a sperm donor, mentioning she kept a vial of sperm in her refrigerator. She also joked about dating multiple men, saying she had her ‘pickings’ and that ‘I have needs, and they have needs.’ She welcomed the possibility, noting, ‘If it happened, that would be great. I would definitely welcome a pregnancy in my life right now.’
Clarification Amid Backlash
The comments drew backlash, prompting Pivarnick to clarify they were made in jest. She stated, ‘Following last night’s episode, I want to address a moment that has clearly been misunderstood. The comments I made were intended in jest and do not reflect my real life. There are no ‘multiple men’ and that narrative is simply not accurate. Anyone who truly knows me understands the kind of person I am and the values I stand by, especially when it comes to my relationships.’
Pivarnick, a Staten Island native, turns 40 next month.
