Police Release CCTV Image After Train Sexual Assault to Manchester

British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to question in connection with a sexual assault on a train traveling to Manchester.

The assault occurred around 1pm on Thursday, April 23, aboard a service from Warrington Bank Quay to Manchester Oxford Road. A woman was targeted by the man while standing in the train’s vestibule area.

Investigation Update

Officers believe the individual in the image possesses vital details that could advance the probe.

Anyone who recognizes the man is urged to contact British Transport Police via text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, referencing incident 328 of 23 April. Anonymous reports are welcome through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
