Chessington World of Adventures has announced the opening date for World of Paw Patrol, the UK’s first dedicated theme park land inspired by the popular preschool franchise. Spanning 1.4 acres in the Surrey park, this £15 million development replaces the former Scorpion Express rollercoaster and welcomes visitors starting Sunday, May 3, just ahead of the bank holiday.

Immersive Attractions and Rides

New images and videos showcase an immersive Adventure Bay experience, complete with pup meet-and-greets, interactive play zones, and themed elements. Families can enjoy four child-friendly rides designed for young adventurers.

• Chase’s Mountain Mission: An entry-level rollercoaster where riders twist and turn to assist Chase and Everest on a rescue mission.
• Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure: The UK’s first ‘drifter’ ride, simulating slides and skids during a high-speed journey from Adventure Bay to Seal Island.
• Skye’s Helicopter Heroes: A suspended helicopter ride with spinning rotors and panoramic views.
• Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue: A thrilling roll through the town’s streets aboard Marshall’s firetruck.

At the heart of the land stands the Paw Patrol Lookout Tower, a full-scale replica familiar to fans worldwide. Additional play areas include Rubble & Rocky’s Play Zone for climbing and sliding with the construction pup, and The Flounder Boat Play for seafaring fun with Captain Turbot.

Themed Hotel Stays and Amenities

Visitors can extend their adventure with five exclusive themed hotel rooms—the only ones of their kind in the UK. Featuring Paw Patroller rescue vehicle beds, these rooms accommodate up to two adults and three children. Rates start at £155 for a family of four, including bed and breakfast, early ride access, and a Fastrack bronze package. Rescue-themed refreshments and souvenirs round out the offerings.

Four-Year-Old PAWject Manager Ensures Quality

To guarantee top standards, the park selected four-year-old superfan Hallie Sawyer from Southampton as its official ‘PAWject Manager’ following a nationwide search with over 2,000 entries. Hallie tested the rides, met the characters, and received family tickets, a hotel stay, and exclusive merchandise.

‘I felt proud when I won—just like Chase, I’m on the case,’ Hallie said. ‘My favourite was seeing Skye’s helicopters, because she is my favourite pup, and I want to be brave like her.’
