David Beckham Attends Cruz’s Paris Gig After Missing Brooklyn Meetup

David Beckham, 50, radiated pride while watching his youngest son Cruz, 21, deliver a live performance in Paris on Thursday night. The former soccer star flew to the French capital for the latest stop on Cruz’s UK and European tour with his band, The Breakers.

Support Amid Tour Success

Beckham, co-owner of Inter Miami, appeared in high spirits as he exited the venue, with Cruz trailing close behind. He previously caught Cruz’s show in Manchester and made the trip again for this Paris appearance. Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 30, and cousin Libby Adams also traveled to cheer him on.

Cruz showcased his distinctive style in a vintage red, white, and blue checked shirt from Yves Saint Laurent, paired with black trousers and loafers.

Tour Highlights and Upcoming Dates

Cruz’s debut headline show at The Courtyard Theatre in London on March 27 sold out instantly. The tour launched in Birmingham on February 25, hitting Cardiff, Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Southampton, and Brighton. Next stops include Amsterdam and Berlin, ending with three nights at The Courtyard Theatre in London.

New Single Hints at Family Strains

Cruz’s upcoming single, “Loneliest Boy,” features lyrics that fans interpret as reflecting tensions with his estranged brother Brooklyn. Key verses include: “Loneliest boy, place all your bets on him, To find something bad in somebody good, he always does, Loneliest boy, I hope that you’re listening, Don’t push all your friends away, when we’re tryna show you love.”

The chorus states: “So tell me you’re scared, and that you need someone to hold. Cause you’re in the room but really, does it even show? But, why can’t they see that you’re a million miles away, They’ll never know, when you look so close.”

Another verse notes: “Loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much, It’s breaking her heart. It shows in the small things that you don’t do, I guess in the end that it’s you, yourself, and you. Tell me how do you live, when you’ve got nobody to lose?”

Recent Family Developments

This Paris visit follows Beckham narrowly missing encounters with Brooklyn twice at the same hotel on Monday. Brooklyn, now based in the US with wife Nicola Peltz, detailed his family distance in a January Instagram statement. He accused his parents of controlling media narratives and attempting to undermine his marriage.

“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” Brooklyn wrote. “The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”

He continued: “Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”
