The Controversial Routine

An audio clip captures Wells delivering the odd bit. He begins, ‘I’ve got a mate that’s into grandma porn. I know everyone does that thing: “Oh, I’m asking for a friend,” or “It’s not actually me who’s into grandma porn, it’s my mate.” That’s not what’s happening here.’

Wells presses on without a clear punchline. ‘Everyone says the same thing about porn, don’t they? They say: “Oh look at that poor girl up there on the screen, that’s somebody’s daughter,” or “That’s somebody’s sister.” Imagine if that was your nan.’

He shifts to defend grandmothers in adult films. ‘No seriously, I think it’s great that Nans can go and do porn. Why wouldn’t they?
