A British doctor, sought by authorities in connection with the death of a model whose remains were discovered in a suitcase, has been apprehended. The victim, identified as Natalia Villalba Angarita, 36, was found deceased earlier this month within a residential building in the Colombian capital.

Law enforcement officials have now taken into custody Matthew Foster-Smith, 46, a medical professional from Poole, Dorset, in relation to the murder.
