Singer Dua Lipa was spotted heading to a recording studio in New York City, continuing a theme of white attire following her recent honeymoon. The artist, recently married to actor Callum Turner, embraced a chic, monochromatic look as she returned to work in the bustling metropolis.
Post-Honeymoon Return to Work
After an idyllic honeymoon in Italy with her new husband, Callum Turner, Dua Lipa has resumed her professional activities. The Grammy-winning artist was photographed en route to a New York recording studio, showcasing a sophisticated all-white ensemble. This appearance marks her return to the music scene after a period of celebration and travel.
Bridal White Fashion Statement
Lipa’s choice of an all-white outfit echoed the bridal theme often associated with recent wedding festivities. She complemented her look with a grey Chloe handbag, valued at approximately £2,000. The singer, who tied the knot with Turner last month, has been sharing glimpses of her post-wedding bliss on social media, highlighting the couple’s romantic Italian getaway.
Italian Honeymoon Highlights
The couple’s honeymoon itinerary included a journey along the picturesque Amalfi Coast, followed by a stay near Rome. During their time in the Italian capital, they participated in pasta-making classes, savored local cuisine, and enjoyed wine. Lipa described the experience as “heaven on earth,” referencing their stay at La Posta Vecchia hotel, a historic Renaissance villa once owned by J. Paul Getty, located just outside Rome.
Their luxurious accommodation included the renowned Getty Suite, offering views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and featuring a prominent marble bathtub. The couple also visited other notable locations and hotels, including Hotel Il Pellicano in Tuscany’s Maremma region, Naples, and Taormina, where they stayed at the San Domenico Palace, a hotel famously featured in the second season of “The White Lotus.”
Wedding Details and Celebrations
The marriage ceremony itself took place in Sicily, following an official registration at Marylebone Town Hall in London. The Sicilian celebrations, held over three days in Palermo at the historic Villa Valguarnera, included a blessing for the newlyweds. The couple, who reportedly met in Los Angeles in January 2024, bonded over a shared interest in the novel “Trust” by Hernan Diaz.
The wedding festivities were attended by notable figures, including Sir Elton John, who performed his hit song “Your Song,” as well as fellow musician Charli XCX and fashion designer Donatella Versace. Lipa’s wedding gown was a haute couture creation by Matthieu Blazy, featuring intricate embellishments and a dramatic train adorned with thousands of feathers. Her bridal look was further enhanced by a feathered headpiece attached to a long, embroidered veil that took over 3,200 hours to create. Callum Turner looked sharp in a custom Louis Vuitton suit. The evening prior to the wedding, a cocktail party was held where Lipa wore a custom Bottega Veneta dress and matching handbag.
Family and Future Plans
Dua Lipa was walked down the aisle by her father, Dukagjin, who also manages her career. Callum Turner’s mother, Rose Turner, a former nightclub doorwoman, also played a special role in the wedding ceremonies. Sources close to the couple have indicated that they are eager to start a family, with one friend noting their strong desire to “be together forever and they want to be parents in the not too distant future.”
Additionally, the couple is reportedly planning to spend an extended period, approximately seven months, in the United States. This move is prompted by Callum Turner’s upcoming work commitments, which include two consecutive film projects. Lipa intends to accompany him during this time. Turner is slated to appear in a remake of the 1981 horror film “Possession” alongside Margaret Qualley, followed by a role in the baseball film “The Comebacker,” where Tom Hanks is expected to portray his pitching coach.
Reflecting on their careers, Turner has commented on the nature of their professions, stating, “We work jobs where we have to go around the world.” He emphasized the importance of cherishing time with friends and family when they are back in London, ensuring they spend as much time together as possible.
