George Goodayle, a 47-year-old former Dreamboys stripper from Peterborough, appeared happy and carefree with his girlfriend Jayne Nicholson just hours before he allegedly shot her dead.

Police Report and Discovery

Goodayle approached authorities last Monday, claiming he had accidentally killed Nicholson, 49. Officers discovered her body at their shared home in Les Champs, a village in south-west France. He faces charges of spousal murder and remains in custody.

Neighbors Describe Loving Couple

Local residents expressed shock at the tragedy. “They were always friendly and very popular,” one neighbor stated. “They often invited us over for drinks and meals, and it was clear they were deeply in love.”
