A 51-year-old Florida resident faces charges after allegedly strolling nude through a resort and performing a sexual act with a vacuum cleaner in a public area. Officials from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple complaints at Windsor Hills Resort in Kissimmee, highlighting concerns over public indecency near popular tourist spots.
Details of the Incident
On January 22, deputies arrived at the resort following reports of a man exposing himself outside a residence on Grassendale Street. Witnesses described seeing Kevin Dale Westerhold, partially clothed, engaged in an explicit act involving a vacuum cleaner. Cellphone footage captured the disturbing scene, which prompted immediate action from authorities.
The suspect fled the area before law enforcement could detain him. Further inquiries revealed that Westerhold and his wife manage several Airbnb properties in the resort, including locations on Grassendale Street and Almaton Loop. This connection aided in identifying him through resident statements and surveillance videos.
Prior Complaints and Evidence
Investigators uncovered a pattern of similar behavior. A complaint from January 21 detailed a nude individual in a shared hallway, supported by ring camera footage. Additional canvassing of Almaton Loop yielded more witness accounts of indecent exposure.
Residents had previously notified the Homeowners Association in December about these issues. Blink camera recordings showed Westerhold either partially clothed or fully nude in common areas, strengthening the case against him.
Arrest and Charges
Authorities issued a warrant for Westerhold, who resides in Oviedo, Florida. On January 27, the Oviedo Police Department arrested him at the request of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. He was booked into Seminole County Jail on a charge of exposure of sexual organs.
The case underscores ongoing efforts to address public safety in resort communities, where such incidents can disrupt residents and visitors alike.
