The Malone household had been devastated as they introduced a beloved member of their family has died. The fan-favourite household, made up of mum Julie, dad Tom, and sons Tom Jr, and Shaun, have been a staple on Gogglebox since 2014.

In a heartbreaking new replace, the household revealed one in all their canines, Bob, had handed away. Alongside a gallery of snaps of Bobby by way of the years, a devastated Julie penned: “As we speak we unhappy goodbye to our lovely protecting Bobby, he spent his final day doing what he liked , watching over the grandchildren taking part in within the backyard. We’re heartbroken. RIP our lovely Large Bob.”

Tom Jr, who bid farewell to the Channel 4 programme in 2021, mentioned: “Good boy Bob… Relaxation simple massive man.”

Shaun added his personal tribute to their pet pooch, writing: “As we speak is the day we needed to say goodbye to massive bob, absolute nice canine like a giant cuddly bear.”

The household had been inundated with messages from their co-stars and followers, who despatched their condolences following the devastating loss.

“So sorry to listen to about Bobby. Run free over the rainbow bridge,” Gogglebox star Ellie Warner commented as her sister Izzy posted: “Sending you all a lot of love.”

One other fan shared: “I’m so sorry. It by no means will get simpler. It’s so laborious dropping all essentially the most lovely little souls. They’re youngsters. You’ll meet once more on the rainbow bridge.”

A fourth echoed: “So sorry to listen to of Bobby’s passing. Sending a lot of love and hugs.” This is not the primary time the household have endured this type of heartbreak as they had been pressured to bid farewell to Dave, a rottweiler who usually joined them on their front room couch, in 2023.

Again in February, Tom Sr sparked concern amongst his followers after posting a a picture of himself clad in a robe and together with his arm in a sling in hospital.

The picture featured the Channel 4 star propped up in mattress, nursing what gave the impression to be a shoulder damage lined by a big bandage, whereas he glanced on the affected space.

Regardless of the thriller surrounding his situation, Tom maintained his humour, captioning the put up: “Awakened with a nappy as a dressing, was caught off guard when the nurse mentioned she needed to change my nappy! Grateful to our NHS, high notch care Thanks, house now!”.
