The night before he disappeared, July 11, Greg was at the family home in Ottoman Court.

Paul recounted waking in the early hours of July 12, between 3 am and 4 am, to find Greg in the lounge room, audibly agitated and talking to himself. Paul Delaney suggested that Greg might have intended to hitchhike to northern New South Wales to visit his girlfriend.
