Holly Valance Unveils Striking New Appearance, Shares Political Stance

Former Neighbours star Holly Valance, 43, has revealed a dramatically different look during a recent interview for The Karl Stefanovic Show in London. Valance showcased significantly lighter blonde hair, styled with a side part, and a deep tan. She opted for a braless ensemble, wearing a plunging chocolate brown vest paired with matching trousers for the recording with the Today show host.

The interview, set to be released Wednesday afternoon, will reportedly delve into Valance’s controversial political views. This appearance follows her participation in the Unite the Kingdom rally, where she marched alongside figure Tommy Robinson. Valance had previously encouraged Australians to embrace patriotism, stating, “Don’t be embarrassed and don’t be too scared to stand up for your country that’s given you everything, that’s given you freedom, that’s given you the great life that you have.”

Valance on Patriotism and Political Alignment

Valance, who holds dual Australian and UK citizenship, passionately urged her fellow Australians to “stand up for your country.” She emphasized the importance of respecting the nation, its culture, and its flag, asserting, “don’t be embarrassed to fly the flag, be patriotic, stand in that and don’t let anybody tell you you’re a racist for doing so.” She described such accusations as “disgusting and treacherous and treasonous.”

Further clarifying her political leanings, Valance stated she is “absolutely right-wing” and comfortable with being labeled “far right.” She reaffirmed her support for One Nation leader Pauline Hanson, calling her an “amazing, loving Australian” and expressing pleasure at Hanson’s growing popularity. Valance reflected that “hindsight is an amazing thing” and suggested that if people had listened to Hanson in the late ’90s, things might be different, admitting, “I remember being a child and watching her and being told she’s the crazy lady. Not so crazy now.”

Personal Life and Political Evolution

Valance’s new look and public persona emerge after her split from billionaire property developer Nick Candy, 53, in June last year, following a 13-year marriage. Sources indicated at the time that the couple had been living separate lives for an extended period, with Candy frequently traveling for his businesses in Dubai and London.

Since her divorce, Valance has re-established herself as a prominent right-wing political activist. She is reportedly growing close to anti-Islamist figure Tommy Robinson and has begun a relationship with her former bodyguard, Grant Gale. Valance has expressed her support for Reform UK and has cited a move away from Australia due to its perceived embrace of “woke stuff.” Her influence has led to discussions about her potentially standing as a Member of Parliament in the UK, and she has also met with Donald Trump in the United States, whom she described as “fabulous.” This marks a significant shift from her earlier days as a self-proclaimed liberal.

Valance’s transition into a prominent conservative voice reportedly gained momentum in 2022 after a photograph of her meeting with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, shared by Nigel Farage, circulated online. It was through Farage that she met Trump, who had invited her and Candy to dinner.

Controversy Surrounds Stefanovic’s Podcast

Karl Stefanovic has also been at the center of controversy regarding his podcast. An independent spokesperson for Nine, the network associated with Stefanovic’s Today show, stated that the podcast is “a completely independent production” with “no involvement, including in the guest selection and other editorial processes.” However, the spokesperson added that “Nine is taking this matter seriously.”

The interview featuring Tommy Robinson was reportedly removed from platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and the show’s YouTube channel less than 12 hours after its release. The episode reportedly discussed Islam, immigration, and Australian politics.

Pauline Hanson publicly supported Stefanovic, uploading the removed interview to her own YouTube channel. Hanson criticized Nine’s management, suggesting they were attempting to “sack” Stefanovic over the interview. She argued that the discussion was crucial for Australians to confront issues related to immigration and extremism, drawing parallels with perceived mistakes made in the UK. Hanson also questioned Nine’s direction, asking, “Have Channel 9 become just as bad as the ABC?”

Stefanovic had previously described Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, as the “ultimate disruptor.” In a promotional video, Stefanovic was seen with Robinson, engaging in a lighthearted exchange that included a derogatory comment about British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. This segment drew criticism from some viewers who expressed disappointment in Stefanovic platforming Robinson, who has a criminal record.
