Hunter Biden, 56, has proposed a cage fight against Donald Trump Jr., 48, and Eric Trump, 42, while promoting an upcoming tour with journalist Andrew Callaghan.
The Cage Fight Proposal
Biden shared the idea during a social media video announcing his participation in the Channel 5 Carnival Tour, set to kick off in Phoenix, move to San Diego, and conclude in Albuquerque later this month.
“[Callaghan] asked me to come out on the Channel 5 Carnival Tour at the end of the month,” Biden stated. “I think he’s trying to organize a cage match, me versus Eric and Don Jr. I told him I’d do it, 100 percent in, if he can pull it off, and if he can’t, I’m still coming.”
Neither Donald Trump Jr. nor Eric Trump has responded to the challenge yet.
Physical Matchups and Fitness Levels
Biden stands at about 6 feet tall and has adopted a rigorous health regimen following his recovery from substance abuse issues. Donald Trump Jr., also around 6 feet, regularly lifts weights. Eric Trump, at approximately 6 feet 4 inches, favors golf, similar to his father.
Past Exchanges Between Biden and Trump Jr.
Donald Trump Jr. has frequently highlighted differences in their backgrounds, particularly Biden’s past struggles with addiction and business dealings.
In a post on X, responding to comparisons of their careers, Trump Jr. wrote: “The difference between me and Hunter Biden? I’ve been a businessman and serial investor my entire adult life. [Hunter] became a ‘businessman’ after his dad got elected. I joined a Venture Capital Firm that invests in private American companies – Nothing to do with the government. He sat on foreign boards and was peddling influence to the highest bidder to change government policy. Oh, he’s also a felon crackhead and I’m not. Thanks for playing, guys!”
Trump Brothers’ Investments in Drone Sector
Both Trump sons have pursued ventures in the U.S. drone industry amid heightened national security concerns over foreign-made models.
Recent developments show they invested in Powerus, a Florida defense startup competing for Pentagon contracts under the $1.1 billion Drone Dominance program. The company, launched in 2025, plans to merge with a publicly traded golf firm for a NASDAQ listing.
This push aligns with efforts to counter low-cost Iranian Shahed drones, priced at around $25,000 each, against U.S. missiles costing up to $13 million. President Trump declared foreign drones a national security threat last December.
Eric Trump backed a merger between Israeli drone company XTEND and a Florida construction firm for public markets in February. Donald Trump Jr. joined the board of Unusual Machines, another Florida drone firm that secured Pentagon contracts for 3,500 drone motors and parts. He also acquired over 331,000 shares worth about $5.5 million.
Chinese drones from DJI have dominated U.S. commercial sales for years but now face restrictions under the administration’s ban on foreign models.
Connections to Prediction Markets
Donald Trump Jr. serves as a strategic advisor to Kalshi and holds a seat on Polymarket’s advisory board. These platforms function as exchanges for futures contracts on events like sports outcomes, elections, and economic indicators, regulated by the federal Commodity Futures Trading Commission rather than states.
Such markets gained prominence during the 2024 presidential race by forecasting outcomes through user bets and continue to expand despite regulatory scrutiny in some areas.
