Britney Spears’ 19-year-old son Jayden made a rare red carpet appearance at the Dior Cruise 2027 runway show in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The event at LACMA marked his first such outing in over a decade, since posing with his mother at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards.
Jayden’s Stylish Look and Star-Studded Night
Jayden opted for a stylishly casual ensemble, featuring a plaid green shirt, dark green jacket, loose-fitting denim jeans, and black shoes. He held fashionable shades and flashed a small smile for photos.
He mingled with A-listers including Miley Cyrus and Sabrina Carpenter. Both of Spears’ sons moved to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, in 2023. However, Federline revealed in his memoir You Thought You Knew that Jayden has returned to Los Angeles to pursue music dreams. ‘Jayden has already returned to L.A., chasing his music dreams,’ Federline wrote, adding the teen is ‘brimming with creative energy.’ He expressed pride: ‘Watching both of them grow into themselves has filled me with pride. We’ve done everything we could to prepare them for life, and I know they’re ready.’
Britney Spears’ Tense Restaurant Visit
On the same evening, Spears created a disturbance at Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks. Witnesses described her as agitated, raising her voice, yelling, and making barking sounds, fostering a tense atmosphere.
Diners reported Spears walking past a table while holding a knife, raising concerns. She shared food with an unidentified man, appearing affectionate and saying ‘I love you,’ though its tone remained unclear. Staff intervened when she lit a cigarette near the entrance.
Spears ordered a burger and fries but ate mostly fries, leaving much untouched, including what appeared to be orange juice. Her table featured a crumpled menu and a messy scene, with one witness noting it looked ‘like a toddler had been there.’ The incident became the restaurant’s main topic, with a patron remarking it could ‘only happen in LA.’
Security escorted Spears home. Diners reportedly did not recognize her until afterward. Spears’ representative issued a statement: ‘This is completely blown out of proportion. Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors. At no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife. She was cutting her hamburger in half. This constant attack on everything that she does and this is exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to depict Britney as a bad person. This is ridiculous and it needs to stop now.’
Recent DUI Sentencing and Recovery
The outing followed Spears calling her DUI case a ‘blessing in disguise’ on Instagram. Arrested on suspicion of DUI on March 4, she posted a photo of a yellow and white snake: ‘Went to the pet store with my kids and look at what what a beautiful baby snake this is… Snakes are symbolic of good health, higher consciousness, and pure luck… I’m so d**n thankful to my friends and so many new beautiful people I have met through my spiritual journey… all a blessing in disguise…’
She added: ‘I still needs to learn how to be kind to myself and the way I speak to myself… It’s a never ending journey and sometimes I just stop, look up and say wow God I think that was you and smile on!!!!’
Last week, Spears pleaded guilty via her lawyer, Michael Goldstein, at Ventura County Superior Court without attending. She received 12 months probation, one day in jail (already served), a three-month alcohol and drug program, a $721 fine, weekly psychologist visits, twice-monthly psychiatrist appointments, and bans on non-prescription alcohol and drugs. Police can search her vehicle without a warrant if stopped again.
Her attorney stated outside court: ‘Miss Spears is doing well. She came home in anticipation of this hearing.’
Charged with misdemeanor DUI, she took a ‘wet reckless’ plea deal suitable for first-time offenders with low blood alcohol, no crash or injury, and rehab motivation. Post-arrest, Spears voluntarily entered Borden Cottage rehab in Maine for under three weeks; stays start at 45 days and cost up to $140,000.
She also missed niece Maddie’s high school graduation. The 17-year-old, daughter of Jamie Lynn Spears, celebrated with family including grandmother Lynn, grandfather Jamie, brother Sean Preston, and sister Ivey.
