Stylish Mother-Son Outing
Jennifer Lopez appeared vibrant and poised during a recent outing with her son Max in Beverly Hills. The 56-year-old entertainer arrived at the renowned Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday, showcasing a chic ensemble that highlighted her timeless elegance.
Lopez selected a flowing satin dress featuring a bold plunging neckline, accented with delicate lace along the bodice. She paired the outfit with open-toed high heels, allowing her straight, center-parted hair to fall smoothly over her shoulders. Gold earrings, subtle necklaces, and sparkling bracelets completed her accessories, while she carried a brown handbag and wore stylish sunglasses for the daytime event.
Arriving in a luxury SUV, Lopez held the door for her 17-year-old son Max as he stepped out, emphasizing their close bond during the upscale visit.
Family Insights and Milestones
Lopez shares twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, to whom she was married from 2004 to 2014. Anthony recently announced he is expecting his eighth child with his wife Nadia Ferreira, with whom he already shares a two-year-old son, Marco.
The twins approach a significant milestone, turning 18 on February 22. In a recent interview with E! News after a Las Vegas performance, Lopez shared how her children prioritize her presence at home over her professional life. “It’s funny, my kids are not very involved with mom’s work,” she explained. “They’re like, ‘Work, come home, be home for dinner.’ That’s more what they’re concerned about.”
She noted that Max and Emme often inquire about family plans, such as “Mom, are you going to be here on the weekend? Can we do this? Can we do that?” Although both show interest in music, they pursue distinct passions. Lopez added, “They’re fans, they’re sweet. They’re proud of their mama.”
Career Updates and Personal Reflections
The first phase of Lopez’s Up All Night Las Vegas residency wrapped up earlier this month, with additional shows scheduled at Caesars Palace from March 6 to 28. During recent performances, she reflected on relationships following her divorce from Ben Affleck.
While performing her 1999 hit “If You Had My Love,” Lopez emphasized earning affection through respect. “Because the truth is, if you wanted to have my love, you would have to earn it. You’d have to treat me right. You’d have to respect me. You’d have to accept me for all that I am,” she told the audience. She continued, “You’d have to love me if you wanted my love. Am I right, ladies?”
Addressing love’s complexities, she stated, “You can’t have love without heartbreak. You can’t. That’s what you sign up for.” Lopez also highlighted the unique Vegas crowd, noting, “The show had to evolve. Vegas is a very specific audience and crowd. It’s very diverse. People are coming here to see all kinds of shows, and so, I’m really conscious of that when I’m putting a show together.”
Property Developments
Recent updates indicate that the Beverly Hills mansion Lopez once shared with Affleck has been removed from the market again after a price reduction. The couple purchased the 12-bedroom property in 2023 for $61 million. It was listed for $68 million in June 2024, shortly before Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, with the split finalized in January 2025.
The home was temporarily taken off the market in July 2025 and relisted at $52 million later that year. Moving trucks were spotted at the residence on Monday, though details on future plans remain unclear. Both Lopez and Affleck have since acquired separate homes after rekindling their romance in 2021 and marrying in 2022.
