John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin Dance to Taylor Swift in Matching Tracksuits

Published on

John Stamos and Jodie Sweetin recreated a lighthearted Full House moment with a choreographed dance video to Taylor Swift’s 2025 hit ‘Opalite.’ The duo, portraying Uncle Jesse and Stephanie Tanner, don matching fuzzy baby-blue tracksuits for the fun social media clip.

Full House Reunion on Social Media

The 62-year-old actor and the 44-year-old performer, known for their routines in the ABC sitcom Full House (1987-1995) and its Netflix revival Fuller House (2016-2020), imagine what their characters would share online today. Stamos, with 10.7 million followers, captioned the Instagram post: ‘I’d follow them.’ The pair ends the dance with Stamos lifting Sweetin for a dramatic pose.

Sweetin commented: ‘love you Uncle J and I hope you never take that sweatsuit off. I’m sure @caitlinskybound agrees.’ Stamos’s wife, Caitlin McHugh, replied: ‘Cuties!’

Dancing Backgrounds

Sweetin finished sixth on season 22 of Dancing with the Stars in 2016. Stamos has declined the show, citing his self-proclaimed lack of dancing skills.

Personal Lives and Sobriety Journeys

Stamos, sober since 2015, shares a seven-year-old son, Billy, with McHugh, his second wife who is 23 years his junior and half-Filipino. Their marriage spans eight years.

Sweetin, a licensed drug and alcohol counselor sober since 2013, has daughters Zoie, 17, and Beatrix, 15, from prior marriages to Cody Herpin and DJ Morty Coyle. She married Mescal Wasilewski, a drug and alcohol therapist, in 2022.

Recent Comments and Upcoming Appearances

The post drew positive reactions from former castmates Scott Weinger, Marla Sokoloff, and Adam Hagenbuch, along with director Jon M. Chu, Saturday Night Live’s Bobby Moynihan, and Clueless star Elisa Donovan.

Sweetin performs at The Ultimate Improv Show this Friday at Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles with Dan Black and Nicole Byer.

Stamos executive produces and stars in the comedy horror-thriller Drag, premiering March 13 at the State Theatre in Austin during SXSW. The film, produced by Danny DeVito, features Lucy DeVito, Lizzy Caplan, and Christine Ko. He also appears as Chase Brylan in season two of Netflix’s The Hunting Wives, streaming later this year.
