Judge Jackie Glass, a former Clark County judge and television personality best known for hosting the syndicated court show Swift Justice, has died. She was 70. Wolfson shared the news on social media, posting a heartfelt tribute to her mother. “RIP my rock. I don’t know how I’ll do this life without you, I love you so much mommy Jackie Glass, I’ll see you again someday,” Wolfson wrote on Facebook, accompanying the message with a photograph of the two.

A Career in Law and Media

She began her media journey in Las Vegas as a radio news reporter for KORK-AM 920 before transitioning to television, working as a reporter and later a news anchor at KTNV-TV Channel 13.

One of the most high-profile moments of her judicial career came in 2008 when she presided over the sentencing of O.J. Simpson. Simpson received a sentence of 33 years in prison for armed robbery and kidnapping stemming from a Las Vegas hotel incident. He was eventually released on parole in 2017.

The program, which focused on small claims cases resolved through binding arbitration, adopted a format common to court shows of the era. She took the helm of the syndicated series in its second season, which began in 2011. During her tenure, production of the show relocated from Atlanta to Los Angeles. Judge Glass remained with Swift Justice until its conclusion in April 2012.
