Katie Price’s husband, Lee Andrews, reportedly left a substantial unpaid bill at the luxury One&Only Royal Mirage hotel in Dubai, where the couple held their wedding ceremony.
Whirlwind Romance and Ceremony
Glamour model Katie Price, 47, married businessman Lee Andrews in January after a rapid romance. The pair met just seven days before their wedding and announced their engagement two days prior at the Burj Al Arab hotel. They exchanged vows in the hotel’s lush gardens amid scattered red rose petals, with Katie wearing a cutout white dress as they clinked champagne glasses.
The ceremony followed Katie’s split from Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater, which occurred 16 days earlier.
Unresolved Hotel Payment
Six weeks after the event, sources indicate Lee has not settled the bill, estimated in thousands of pounds given room rates around £2,000 per night. Hotel staff remain frustrated despite Lee’s promise to return and pay.
An insider revealed: “Lee Andrews has not yet paid the One&Only Royal Mirage hotel where he and Katie Price got married. He promised to settle the outstanding bills but still hasn’t, and it’s been over six weeks.”
Lee Andrews’ Response
When questioned about the bill, Lee insisted: “It was fully paid. It was an SMS on my HSBC locally. I will ping it to you so you can see it.” By the following day, he added: “Saturday morning you’ll have it.” No proof of payment has been provided.
Lee’s Background and Warnings
Lee’s ex-fiancée, personal trainer Alana Percival, warned Katie after he proposed to her just 16 weeks earlier in an identical rose-petal setup at the Burj Al Arab. American Crystal Janke also accused Lee of exaggerating his wealth, including claims of a £36 million Dubai mansion, and alleged he took £123,000 from her while dating her alongside Alana.
In 2025, Lee served three weeks in a Dubai jail on fraud charges for allegedly forging ex-girlfriend Dina Taji’s signature to secure a £200,000 mortgage.
Recent checks show Lee, barred from leaving the UAE, lived in a modest bungalow with his father in Al Bada’a before the wedding, far from the luxury mansion Katie described.
Family Distress
With Katie back in the UK amid regional flight restrictions and Lee unable to travel, they communicate via FaceTime. The hasty marriage has stunned Katie’s family, including children Junior and Princess Andre, and her mother Amy, who is hospitalized.
On The Katie Price Show podcast, sister Sophie shared her exhaustion: “I feel drained. I’m not going to lie, this year for me has not been great. Mine has been a really f***ing s*** start to the year, caused by you. You, this year, have been a pain in the f***ing arse. Mum has been horrendous. You have traumatised us all again. It’s not good.”
Princess reacted to the group chat announcement: “The message Mum sent on the group chat about being engaged… I literally responded, ‘OMG.’ Mum’s very impulsive, but that is impulse on a whole other level.” Katie’s mother reportedly gave her a stern talking-to over marrying a stranger.
