Keri Russell, Kate Hudson, and Sarah Pidgeon lead the celebrations at the lively Netflix Actor Awards afterparty in Los Angeles. Hollywood stars gathered at Milk Studios following the ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall.
Keri Russell’s Triumphant Night
Keri Russell secures the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series award for her role in The Diplomat. The 49-year-old actress dances joyfully, waving her blue statuette in one hand and clutching her bag in the other, while sipping red wine. She stuns in a sleek black one-shoulder gown paired with dramatic drop earrings and bold red lipstick.
Kate Hudson Toasts with Champagne
Nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role in Song Sung Blue, Kate Hudson loses to Jessie Buckley but keeps the spirits high. The 46-year-old star sips champagne while arm-in-arm with Ali Larter. She switches from her white ceremony dress to a form-fitting silver gown that highlights her figure.
Sarah Pidgeon Lets Loose
Sarah Pidgeon, starring as Carolyn Bessette in Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, kicks off her heels on the dancefloor. The 29-year-old chats on her phone in a strapless lilac dress and shares a warm hug with Rose Byrne.
Other attendees include Demi Moore, who mingles in a black gown with a flowing tulle train, her hair in a chic bun and makeup glamorous. Aimee Lou Wood, nominated for her role as Chelsea in The White Lotus, enjoys the festivities despite not winning.
Michael B. Jordan’s Surprise Double Victory
Michael B. Jordan claims the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, upsetting Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), and Jesse Plemons (Bugonia). His film Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler, also wins Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, beating Frankenstein (Netflix), Hamnet (Focus Features), Marty Supreme (A24), and One Battle After Another (Warner Bros).
The 39-year-old actor tears up, hands covering his face in shock. His mother, Donna Jordan, grabs his shoulders in delight. In his speech, Jordan thanks her: “Mom, thank you for driving me back and forth to New York when we didn’t have enough money to go through the Holland Tunnel.”
He adds, “I wasn’t expecting that. I’m so honored and privileged to be nominated in categories with people and actors and humans that I love, and I love their work and what they contribute to our craft and just rise to has been unbelievable. So, thank you for welcoming me in and making me feel seen.”
Presenter Viola Davis gasps in surprise before announcing the win with a celebratory shout. Timothée Chalamet applauds graciously with co-star Gwyneth Paltrow. Delroy Lindo accepts the cast award on behalf of Sinners.
Additional guests spotted include Adam Brody, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan in a black and rose gold gown, and Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos chatting with The White Lotus stars Parker Posey and others.
