Kirsty Bertarelli Parts Ways with Partner Following Health Crisis
Kirsty Bertarelli, the former Miss UK and co-writer of the hit song ‘Black Coffee,’ has reportedly ended her relationship with her partner, Marc Citron. This news comes approximately a year after Citron suffered a severe stroke, an event Bertarelli described as ‘massive’ and which deeply impacted their lives.
Bertarelli, who received a substantial divorce settlement of £350 million from Swiss billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli in 2021 after 21 years of marriage and three children, had found comfort in her relationship with Citron. Sources close to the couple indicate that while the romance has concluded, they ‘remain really good friends.’
A friend commented, “Marc and Kirsty were truly a beautiful couple together and remain really good friends, but it just didn’t work out in the end.” The couple had previously weathered the significant health scare involving Citron’s stroke. Bertarelli had composed a song for him, sharing a clip and writing, “My beautiful soul connection… what we went through no one will understand or comprehend but by writing this song for you… we did good baby – we did good… You’re a total Angel.”
Bertarelli has declined to comment on the situation, but an associate suggests she is now ‘focusing on building her music career.’ Citron, understandably, has been prioritizing his recovery. The friend added, “They came into each other’s lives at such a pivotal time, and for that they’ll always be grateful for what they shared.”
