In the locker room, Knicks star Josh Hart mocked the Philadelphia crowd. ‘Everybody was begging for Philly to not sell their tickets,’ he said. ‘I used to think Philly was a sports town. I don’t know if it is anymore.’

New York Takeover Despite Warnings

Outside the arena, Knicks supporters waved brooms to symbolize the clean sweep. Disheartened 76ers fans voiced frustration: One said, ‘I ain’t going to lie, this is a Mother’s Day massacre. I left my mom [for this]… I have to make it up to momma.’

Another called for the dismissal of head coach Nick Nurse, while a female fan fought back tears, describing the playoff loss as ‘heartbreaking.’
