Lee Andrews, the new husband of former glamour model Katie Price, faced scrutiny after stumbling through an interview where his boasts about speaking 12 languages fluently fell apart. Price, 47, married the 42-year-old businessman in an initial ceremony in January, followed by a legal one, sparking concerns among fans and family over reports of his scamming history.
Language Skills Put to the Test
Andrews claimed fluency in 12 languages but struggled when asked to demonstrate. He managed a few words about his wife in Spanish but mistakenly called her his girlfriend. Attempts in Hindi and Arabic proved challenging. ‘I don’t know the word for woman in Hindi,’ Andrews admitted. ‘Hindi, I’m going to struggle with because it’s like broken down. And anyone who listens to Hindi will say, ‘that’s not right’ and I want to get it right. But let me try it in Hindi for you.’
He noted speaking Russian comes easier with native speakers as he can ‘bounce off them.’
Denied Kris Jenner Connection
Andrews also asserted he works closely with Kris Jenner, mother of Kim Kardashian. ‘I work with her mother directly. Kim, or should we say her mother, who manages most of her outlets . . . from what I understand, Kim doesn’t have a voice. Kim. And obviously they’ve got their legal team,’ he said. Sources close to the family firmly deny any such collaboration.
CV Fabrications and Fraud Allegations
Last week, Andrews confessed to lying on his CV, blaming a former personal assistant. His profile once listed him as a Cambridge University alumnus with a PhD, a self-proclaimed millionaire, ‘Member of the Board of Advisors’ for the Labour Party, and ‘Director of Philanthropy’ at The King’s Trust. He now admits the details were embellished, does not manage his own social media, and agrees his CV ‘it’s not good’ and needs updating.
He faces fraud accusations, including allegedly forging an ex-girlfriend’s signature for a £200,000 loan, leading to three weeks in a Dubai jail and a ban from the UAE. Andrews denies these claims.
New Investment Dispute
A woman recently accused Andrews of taking $1,000 for shares in his company, Aura Worldwide Holdings Ltd., registered in the British Virgin Islands. Official records show the business dissolved in 2024, yet she claims he has not refunded her despite promises.
‘I sent $1000, which is almost 4000 Dubai Dirham. I sent it to his personal bank account but didn’t question it at first,’ she stated. ‘When I asked for it back, he said he would pay it back. It’s been almost two months now and he’s still not giving me my $1000 back.’
Messages confirm Andrews pledged repayment within 24 hours, then 48 hours after her final request on February 17 and police threat on February 23. She reports no money received. Andrews denied the claims on Instagram and insists the company remains active, stating ‘100 per cent it’s there.’
Despite the controversies, Price appeared affectionate, sharing a meme about ‘pure love’ with ‘no lies or secrets.’
