Louise Redknapp, 51, continues to reinvent her style with a striking shorter-than-ever bob haircut that grazes her shoulders. The singer showcases effortless versatility, moving from her signature long blonde locks to this polished cut.
Effortless Style in London
Recently spotted sipping coffee in London, Louise pairs her fresh bob with a sleek black trouser suit, crisp white jacket, and oversized black sunglasses. The ensemble delivers a timeless, sophisticated vibe that highlights her new hair perfectly, blending darker roots into sun-kissed blonde ends reminiscent of Brazilian beach tones.
Confessions Vinyl Re-Release
Louise prepares to re-release her fifth studio album, Confessions, as a limited-edition vinyl on April 18 for Record Store Day. She shares an exciting first look on Instagram with her 862,000 followers, exclaiming, “Wow, look at this! Louise Confessions, extended edition.”
“This is for Record Store Day on the 18th of April and you can only actually buy it if you go into the store, which I love because I’m such a big collector of vinyls and records,” she adds. Unboxing the record, Louise reveals, “So we’ve got the middle spread and then a bit inside, and I can’t wait to see the actual color of the vinyl. Yes, look at that. It matches my tights. Oh, I love it. I feel really honored to have such a lovely piece of artwork. Maybe I’ll see you down at the record store if you’re going to get one.”
Beauty and Style Essentials
Mother to sons Charley and Beau from her marriage to former footballer Jamie Redknapp, Louise offers key beauty insights. She recommends Oribe Texturising Spray for added volume and stresses the importance of hair color as one ages: “I usually keep it dark at the roots and then I like the ends to be picked up. I describe it as that Brazilian beach colour.”
For makeup, she favors bold choices: “I’m very much ‘all eyes’ or ‘all lips’. I love a dark smokey eye – I don’t think you can ever go wrong with that look, but always keep the lips nude. I always think it’s best to put the eyeliner on the inside of your eye too, I think it’s a timeless look that is great with a suit or black dress.”
She transforms daytime casuals into evening glamour easily: “If I’ve been at work in the day in ripped jeans and a t-shirt, I can turn that into a night time look with dark smokey eyes and high heels, and feel glam! My other favourite look is a dark berry lip with lashings of black mascara and no other eye make-up.”
