Scott McCristal, a groom from Married At First Sight, has strongly criticized his on-screen wife Gia Fleur’s new relationship with Love Triangle star Alan Wallace.
Scott’s Emotional Outburst on Aftershow
In the recent episode of Stan’s MAFS: After the Dinner Party, the 33-year-old expressed deep disappointment, calling the romance a ‘coordinated and set-up’ arrangement that blindsided him. Photos of Gia with Alan emerged while their marriage storyline still airs on screen.
‘I was so invested in her, it was real, and I nurtured her, but I just copped so much sh*t,’ Scott stated. He highlighted putting their lives on hold for three months during the experiment, now questioning the entire process.
Scott revealed off-camera tensions were far worse, with Gia issuing ultimatums, frequently threatening to leave, and demanding declarations of love. ‘She would threaten to leave once a week,’ he added, accusing her of frequent outbursts and neglecting their bond.
Gia’s New Relationship Escalates Quickly
Gia, 36, confirms she has moved on and is now seriously involved with Alan. Their connection started toward the end of filming when they met at a Sydney party.
‘When I saw Alan for the first time I knew I liked him because I was getting super jealous of him speaking to another girl,’ Gia admitted. ‘I was instantly like that’s my man – he just doesn’t know it yet.’
The relationship turned official around New Year’s Eve after months of intermittent contact. ‘It’s very serious now,’ Alan confirmed. ‘I’ve asked her to be my girlfriend and we’re officially together.’ The couple discusses future plans, including Gia moving in.
Gia’s Perspective on the Split
Gia attributes the end of her feelings for Scott to the final dinner party. ‘I knew my feelings for Scott were gone after the final dinner party when he treated me like a piece of shit,’ she said.
She described feeling disrespected during the reunion and press events, lacking compliments, reassurance, or security. ‘I felt used,’ Gia stated. Fundamental differences, such as views on having children, also contributed to the breakdown.
