The Dog Stars, a sci-fi and action movie with a reported budget of $110 million, is set to release in US and UK theaters on August 28. The film’s synopsis describes a post-apocalyptic world where a virus has decimated humanity, leaving survivors to contend with scavengers known as Reapers. The protagonist, Hig, is a pilot who survived the pandemic but lost his wife.

Qualley’s representative confirmed the breakup with Antonoff to TMZ on July 10, stating that infidelity and trust issues were not factors in the separation. The marriage was described as having been ‘rocky.’ Qualley and Antonoff, a 14-time Grammy winner, were last seen together at the Grammy Awards in February.

Sources close to the situation suggested that various factors contributed to the split, with some alleging that Antonoff had been difficult to live with. Qualley and Antonoff, who began dating in the summer of 2021, had been married for nearly three years.

Following the news of the separation, Qualley reverted her Instagram handle back to include her full legal name, Sarah Margaret Qualley, moving away from handles referencing Antonoff’s song ‘Isimo.’ She had also previously deleted Instagram photos from their wedding day, which took place at Beach Haven in New Jersey.
