Millie Mackintosh, the 36-year-old former Made In Chelsea star, recently tried axe throwing while expressing inspiration from women rebuilding their lives on their own terms. This comes shortly after her separation from husband Hugo Taylor after seven years of marriage.
Game Changers Event Highlights
Millie joined a group of women at beauty expert and TV personality Trinny Woodall’s Game Changers event on Tuesday, which honors remarkable women. During the gathering, participants engaged in axe throwing to release energy, with Millie captured hurling axes at a target.
She later posted a photo alongside host Trinny Woodall, captioning it: “Meeting women who have had the courage to start again, evolve, and build something on their own terms will never not inspire me.” Millie added, “So lovely to finally meet @trinnywoodall today.”
Trinny Woodall also participated in the axe-throwing activity, describing it in a video caption as: “Our first activity was some very serious axe throwing.”
Recent Separation from Hugo Taylor
Millie and Hugo, parents to five-year-old Sienna and four-year-old Aurelia, announced their split on February 2. The couple, who met as teenagers on Made In Chelsea and married in June 2018, prioritize their children and co-parenting.
Sources close to the pair confirm they remain committed to family life despite the challenges. They had engaged in serious discussions about their future, deciding separation best suits both. The couple now explores living arrangements while focusing on their young daughters.
Signs of a New Chapter
Last month, Millie attended a wellness retreat in India aimed at healing the nervous system, appearing without her wedding ring. She shared posts hinting at personal growth, including a quote: “You don’t always have to know what comes next in your journey. Sometimes you just need to be where you are and know that it’s okay to be there. There is so much beauty in accepting yourself, right here, in this moment.”
Another post read: “No matter what you are working towards, I hope you can always remember that finding peace in the present moment is just as important as the path ahead.” She also shared: “And then the moon said to me, dear girl, it’s time to own your f***ing power.”
Meanwhile, Hugo enjoyed a skiing holiday. Their relationship, first spotlighted on Made In Chelsea, faced turbulence early on, including a 2011 breakup after Millie accused him of cheating with co-star Rosie Fortescue.
