Bartel acquired the 613-square-meter residence in October 2020, soon after her separation from AFL star Jimmy Bartel. She paid $3.15 million at the time and has made no major renovations, resulting in an asking price nearly identical to the original cost after five years.

Prior to this purchase, Bartel sold the couple’s $4 million marital home in St Kilda West just four months earlier. The pair, who share custody of sons Aston, 10, and Henley, 7, had lived there during the final two years of their marriage.
